What is the Klein ISD Diversity Art Contest?
A contest that is based on the idea of getting students involved in creating diversity-themed art that will be turned into a Klein ISD school calendar.
The contest is intended to get students thinking about tolerance, respect, understanding, diversity, and kindness.
The contest is also intended to show that Klein ISD is a district that embraces and values diversity
All artwork must be original and produced solely by the student.
All mediums are acceptable, including but not limited to:
Computer generated art Crayons Colored pencils Markers Artwork must be horizontal, scalable to 8.5 x 11 and sprayed with Krylon Crystal Clear.
The drawing will not be considered for the calendar unless it is drawn horizontally

Ideas of What to Draw. Collaboration created by the 4th grade students:
- sharing
- making friends
- playing outside (with everyone)
- many different kinds of people from around the world
- same but different objects, people, places and things
- Globe
- ying and yang balance symbols
- helping others out
- all types of hair styles
- snow flakes
- cultural clothing
- flags from around the world
- architecture around the world
- peace signs
- expressing diversity in different written languages
